Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami handed appointment letters to newly selected officers. Notably, 182 candidates were selected through the Uttarakhand PCS Mains Exam 2024. Also, five personal assistants of the Agriculture Department got letters. In total, 187 candidates received appointment letters on Friday, 3 July 2026.

What the Chief Minister Said
The Chief Minister said an appointment letter is not just entry into a government job. Instead, it reflects the trust of more than one crore people of the state. Also, it is a pledge to serve the public. Furthermore, he said each officer will now be known by work, sensitivity and accountability.

The Chief Minister said the state has run recruitment in a transparent way. According to him, over 34,000 youth got government jobs in the last four and a half years. He also highlighted the state’s strict anti-copying law. Thus, he linked fair exams with public trust.

The ceremony took place at the Mukhya Sevak Sadan in Dehradun. Several ministers and senior officials attended. Also, families of the selected candidates joined the event.
