Gratitude for Positive Guidance
First, Shailesh thanked the SAMVEG IAS team. He says he got good support every time he came here. Also, he valued Sir’s constant positive guidance. In his view, the academy stays away from the trend of claiming selections through random photos. Instead, he feels it works for aspirants and stays closely connected with them during interview preparation.
Selection Needs Many Factors
Next, he congratulated all selected candidates. According to him, many factors must come together for a name to reach the final list. Intelligence and hard work are surely factors. However, they are not the only ones. He also believes God’s will plays its part. Therefore, every selected candidate deserves warm congratulations.
Advice from Shailesh Sati Rank 2 UKPSC 2021: Enjoy the Foundation Course
Finally, he shares one key piece of advice. New officers will soon join a three-month foundation course. So, enjoy it fully, he says. Also, do not compare services during this time. Some feel they got less than they deserved. Others feel they have reached the top. However, everyone has someone above them.
Once you reach the field, you will realise these three months matter most. So, forget the past stress and enjoy them. After all, you will learn the work later anyway. He admits this is his personal opinion, and others may disagree.
