if you have prepared a topic very well, then check out what kind of question upsc has asked earlier ,what are the critical concept, how to understand twisted question, how difficult is the language of questions. This all can be done only when you have prepared very well.Preparation of topic is very important at first instance.

if you have not prepared very well, you does not have conceptual clarity ,test series will not help you and vice versa you have prepared well but didnot practice that may also reduce your chance to qualify pre. so first prepare the subject very well and then practice through test series.

The civil services exam is three stage exam. First is prelims exam. It is most difficult stage as out of 8-9 lakh students only 12-15 thousand students depending on number of vacancy pass through this stage. It is conducted to short out non serious students.

PRELIMS is the first stage exam  to became an IAS. Objective type questions asked in prelims exam requires thorough practice of previous year questions and new questions.Conventional tests are designed to test your knowledge assuming you have read everything – from basics to advanced level. Some tests emphasize more on facts and some tests still follow old trend where stress was more on rote knowledge.

During last 3-4 years, there has been a massive change in the way Preliminary exam is designed. Now the emphasis is on testing the understanding of basic concepts of topics given in the syllabus. Aspirants are specifically tested about their conceptual clarity. If you do not have clear understanding of a specific topic, the questions are difficult to answer.

Another trend is that questions appear easy outside but once you ponder over them again and again, they confuse you a lot. This is again because of improper understanding of concepts.

UPSC is no more interested in famous personalities, places, awards, or any other facts. Some argue that UPSC is doing this to hurt coaching centres. But it is wrong.

UPSC is clearly moving towards selecting candidates who genuinely understand our society, economy, polity, geography, environment and every day events of importance.

we have seen many bright student who are very much capable of qualifying  ias pre exam are not able to do that because of anxiety that dominates on exam day.The student appearing in their first attempt due inexperience in understanding the level of question paper either attempt more or very less in exam paper that results in failure in prelims. Such kind of situation can be avoided by practising standard questions of upsc standard .

Earlier concept of test series for prelims was that those student who has appeared in mains or has completed coaching were interested in this.but now days  a single student doing coaching and appearing in multiple test series.this sometime hampers their performance in exam .

Why test series is required?

if you have prepared a topic very well, then to check out what kind of question upsc has asked earlier ,what are critical concept, how to understand twisted question, how difficult is  the language of question.this all can be done only when you have prepared very well.preparation of topic is very important.if you have not prepared very well, you does not have conceptual clarity ,test series will not help you and vice versa you have prepared well but didnot practice that may also reduce your chance to qualify pre. so first prepare the subject very well and then practice through test series.

Scheme of test series

we understand that too much test series is not good for preparation.we suggest that candidate first should go through the old 15 year papers of upsc.Analyse them, understand their language and meaning, find out critical aspect of question and practice them.In between you can join test series too.

our test series will consist of 10 sectional paper and 5 full length paper .
