Prelims Strategy of Ayush Bandhani Rank 27 UKPSC 2024
Prelims was his biggest hurdle. In fact, he missed the 2021 prelims by a few marks. So, he made three changes for 2024:
- More resources: He added Lucent and Ghatnachakra to his reading.
- Command over facts: Uttarakhand prelims often has one-liner questions. Hence, facts play a big role.
- Focus areas: Nearly 33% of questions now come from Uttarakhand. Therefore, he built strong command over Uttarakhand and current affairs. Then, he aimed for around 60% in the rest.
Mains Strategy
The 2024 mains pattern brought two big changes. First, answer sheets had more pages, so writing speed had to improve. Second, questions became compulsory, with no choice.
Consequently, Ayush focused on core scoring papers like Hindi, Essay and Ethics. Above all, he made sure to attempt the full paper.
Break the Syllabus into Topics
Instead of chasing booklists, Ayush Bandhani Rank 27 UKPSC 2024 suggests a topic-wise approach:
- First, break each paper into parts. For example, GS 1 has Indian history, world history and society.
- Next, study the short syllabus lines carefully.
- Then, track PYQs of UPPCS, UKPSC and UPSC.
- Finally, think of new dimensions on your own.
If a question still comes from outside, it will be tough for everyone. So, do not worry about it.
Interview: Personality Builds Over Time
