US Semiquincentennial: United States Marks 250 Years of Independence

The United States celebrated its 250th anniversary on 4 July 2026. Officially, this milestone is called the Semiquincentennial. Notably, it marks exactly 250 years since the adoption of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. Moreover, celebrations took place across the country.
